ASI closed at 6984, down 0.3% from last week but ending the week on a positive note. S&P20 closed at 3905, down 0.3% during the same period.

While turnover dropped from previous week, net foreign outflows topped Rs. 1bn during the week against ~Rs. 0.5bn for the previous week which had four trading days.

Market PER was 18.1x according to CSE.

Notable gainers were VLL which appreciated by 10.7% and KGAL (up 11.9&) which had a late run before the dividend was announced.

EXPO announced an interim dividend during the week while CARG, CTLD and TJL announced their final dividends.
